GraceInside Announces Chaplaincy Changes at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women

As God calls Chaplain Vera Rhyne to retirement, mid-February, a new chaplain will take the helm at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women.  Chaplain Lorrie Wajciechowski will begin her service in training with Chaplain Rhyne and take over solo on February 20th.

We wish Chaplain Rhyne Godspeed and thank her for her many years with GraceInside. We celebrate what God has accomplished through her at James River Correctional Center and Fluvanna, as well.

Chaplain Lorrie transfers to FCCW from Buckingham Correctional Center where she has served quite successfully as the chaplain. Although sad to leave her BCC family, Chaplain Lorrie is excited to bring her energy, joyful spirit and love for the women to Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women.  Even better, Chaplain Lorrie is no stranger to FCCW. Since Jan 1, she has served as a grant funded chaplain focusing on the sick and isolated ladies in the infirmary. Chaplain Lorrie is eager to make the change and wrap her heart and arms around the ministry at FCCW.

GraceInside hopes to host a “meet and greet” before too long so the local community, volunteers and those committed to sustaining chaplaincy at FCCW have the opportunity to meet her.  Stay tuned – both for information on what Chaplain Lorrie will be doing and on how to meet her and become involved!
