GraceInside Staff Changes & Updates as of Spring 2022

GraceInside has had quite a few Chaplain changes in recent times (especially over this past year).

Chaplain Curtis Wall has retired as Chaplain at Lunenburg Corr. Ctr. and Baskerville Corr. Ctr. We thank him for his faithful service and wish him every good blessing!  Baskerville has been filled (see below), and we are in the process of screening and then interviewing for the Chaplain position at Lunenburg.

Effective June 1, 2022, Chaplain Michael Blythe is leaving Greensville Correctional Center (S1) and the Greensville Work Center, taking on the chaplaincy at Baskerville Correctional Center, and continuing to serve as Chaplain at Halifax Correctional Unit.  We are in the process of screening and interviewing candidates for the Chaplain position at Greensville Correctional Center (S1) and Greensville Work Center.

We are happy to report that Chaplain Robert Ball has returned to his position at Nottoway Correctional Center and Nottoway Work Center after an extended absence due to a lengthy illness.  Chaplain Ball continues to struggle with some health issues, so we ask for your prayers for him.

We are also happy to report that Chaplain Vera Rhyne will be returning to her position at the State Farm Correctional Complex (State Farm Correctional Center [formerly Deep Meadow] and the Secure Care Unit at VCU Medical Center) the last week of June.  Chaplain Rhyne has also been on an extended medical absence and has been greatly missed.  Please pray for her continued recovery and successful return to her ministry at the facility.

We welcome these new servants of God to the GraceInside family and to see the smiling faces of our new Chaplains as well as our Veterans.
