Chaplain Ashton Brock Attends North American Mission Board (NAMB) Annual Chaplains Training Retreat in October 2022

The Chaplains Commission of the North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) provides denominational endorsement to over 3,700 Chaplains in the following categories: Community Services, Corporate, Correctional, Disaster Relief, Healthcare, Military, and Public Safety. This endorsement signifies that the endorsed Chaplain is a Minister and Chaplain in good standing with their local church and with their chaplaincy employer.  Chaplains endorsed by the North American Mission Board are required to submit quarterly reports to NAMB regarding their chaplaincy ministry, as well as to attend the Annual NAMB Chaplain Training.

“It was a great pleasure for my wife and I to attend the Annual Chaplain Training Retreat in Ridgecrest, NC from October 17-19, 2022. As always, it was a Spirit-filled gathering where the Chaplains enjoyed worship, fellowship, and the renewal of friendships. Our keynote speaker this year was Dr. Matt Queen, Professor of Evangelism at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. It is always a blessing to see the NAMB Chaplaincy Team, led by Executive Director Major General (Retired) Doug Carver. I felt very blessed to be together with other Chaplains and to have the opportunity to share sacred stories, just as I do with my GraceInside Family at our Annual Chaplains Training Retreat. My wife and I are already looking forward to the next training retreat – in October 2023!” – Chaplain Ashton Brock
