Nottoway Correctional Center Baptizes 36 + 9 in October 2024

Our seasoned Chaplain William Moore is one of GraceInside’s Regional Supervisors (Eastern and Central Regions), and also serves as Institutional Chaplain at Nottaway Correctional Center.  Chaplain William always speaks kindly whenever you encounter him, and represents GraceInside with dignity, warmth and professionalism.

On the amazing day of Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Nottaway Correctional Center, the angels up above shouted for JOY because 36 prayer warriors joined the marching band of Jesus Christ. Chaplain William joyfully remarked:

“It started with 36 men and the Spirit started to move in the room and 9 more came up and wanted to be baptized. We want to pray for these new believers in Christ and thank the Kairos team for assisting with this baptismal. What a mighty God we serve.”

Nottoway Correctional Center is one of the state’s larger prisons, currently housing 835 inmates but with the capacity to hold 1,112. With Chaplain William on site at that busy facility, it’s likely that many more of those 825 men will be led to Jesus and the spiritually healing waters of baptism!
