Summer is time to energize the soul by taking a summer vacation, a brisk walk, and sitting quietly on the beach. These last few years have been very hard for most of us (in so many ways, including financially). GraceInside wants to thank every one of our supporters for their generous donations over the years (and especially during COVID-19 and the financial problems that have resulted from it).  We really appreciate every contribution large or small, and we don’t take them lightly. Even when the economy is up and down and like a rollercoaster, the God we serve still works through the sacrificial giving of His people!
As you may know, when things slow down it does affect the operating budget of our ministry.  This year – for the first time in a number of years – things have been very tight for us financially.  Revenues have been down significantly, and we have had to “stretch ourselves thin” to support our Chaplains. This is why we ran a special summer campaign called “Summer of Passion” (i.e. Are you passionate about second chances?).  We sent out an e-blast to all of our supporters, posted the campaign on our Facebook page, and it also appeared in the e-newsletters of some of our wonderful denominational sponsors. We set a very ambitious goal of trying to raise $50,000.00 between July 1^st and Labor Day.  Obviously, this campaign is just about to come to an end, and we are SO grateful to all of you that participated.  Unfortunately, we didn’t even come near reaching our aggressive goal, but we brought in around $15,000.00 of support for our Chaplains, and that is nothing to sneeze at.  We are GRATEFUL, and we praise God for His goodness!!!
