Greetings Dear Friends,
On behalf of our entire GraceInside Family, we just want to say:
As our Easter Campaign comes to a close, we want each of you to know how very grateful we are for your generous and sacrificial gifts! We didn’t quite get to our goal of $25,000, but that’s okay. We realize that budgets are stretched thin right now, with everything from a tank of gas to a trip to the grocery store costing a mint. As of this writing, our Easter Campaign total has reached nearly $23,000 (or approximately 98% of our goal)! PRAISE GOD!!! Even though we didn’t quite achieve our goal, we’re SO THANKFUL for the investment you have made in our Chaplains and for the seeds of NEW LIFE and HOPE that you have helped to sow into the hearts of the nearly 25,000 incarcerated men and women that they serve.
Because of YOU, Chaplains across the Commonwealth – in the Western Region, in the Central Region, and in the Eastern Region – will have the ministry hours they need in the upcoming months to make a difference in the lives of SO many inmates! The funds you gave will also be used towards new Bibles, supplies, cards, and teaching materials for the inmates. Unless you yourself have been incarcerated, you simply have NO idea what this will mean to these men and women that live behind the walls, bars and barbed wire.
Dear friend, how we thank and praise the Lord that you have not forgotten the words of our Lord Jesus in Matthew 25:36: “I was in prison and you visited me.” And that’s exactly what our called and dedicated Chaplains do every single day. They plant seeds of HOPE within the hearts of our incarcerated Brothers and Sisters.
